1. Voluntary Participation

I understand that participation in the Altoura retreat ("Retreat") is entirely voluntary, and I am choosing to participate of my own free will.

2. Assumption of Risk

I understand that Retreat activities may include, but are not limited to:

• Movement, fitness, and wellness sessions
• Outdoor activities (hiking, swimming, boating, cycling, etc.)
• Transportation in third-party vehicles
• Use of villa facilities, pools, gyms, and equipment
• Cultural, culinary, and experiential activities
• Travel to and from the Retreat destination

I acknowledge that these activities involve inherent risks, including physical injury, illness, accidents, weather hazards, slips/falls, equipment failure, and risks associated with third-party venues. I voluntarily assume all such risks, whether known or unknown.

3. Health & Medical Responsibility

I represent that:

• I am in good physical and mental condition
• I am medically able to participate in Retreat activities
• I have disclosed relevant medical conditions
• I will bring and take prescribed medications as needed
• I will notify staff immediately of any health concerns

I understand that Altoura does not provide medical care and is not responsible for medical decisions or emergencies. I authorize Altoura to obtain emergency medical assistance if necessary and agree to be responsible for all related costs.

4. Release of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, I hereby release, waive, and forever discharge Altoura, its owners, officers, employees, contractors, partners, and agents from any and all claims arising from:

• Participation in Retreat activities
• Use of facilities, equipment, or transportation
• Actions or omissions of third-party providers
• Travel delays, disruptions, or cancellations
• Illness, injury, or death
• Theft, loss, or damage to personal property

This release applies to all claims, including those based on negligence, except where prohibited by law.

5. Third-Party Providers

I understand that certain Retreat services are provided by independent third parties (transportation, activities, wellness practitioners, villa owners, etc.). Altoura is not responsible for the acts, omissions, or negligence of third-party providers.

6. Conduct & Behavior

I agree to:

• Follow all instructions from Altoura staff and partners
• Treat staff and fellow guests respectfully
• Avoid unsafe, disruptive, or illegal behavior
• Use facilities and equipment responsibly

I understand that Altoura may remove me from the Retreat without refund if I violate these standards.

7. Property Damage

I agree to be financially responsible for any damage I cause to:

• Retreat accommodations
• Facilities
• Equipment
• Third-party property

8. Travel Requirements & Documentation

I am solely responsible for:

• Valid passports and visas
• Travel insurance (strongly recommended)
• Transportation to and from the Retreat
• Compliance with local laws and entry requirements

Altoura is not responsible for denied entry, missed flights, or travel disruptions.

9. Force Majeure

I understand that Altoura is not liable for delays, changes, or cancellations caused by events outside its control, including:

• Weather
• Natural disasters
• Illness outbreaks
• Political instability
• Government restrictions
• Strikes or labor disputes

Refunds or credits in such cases are at Altoura's discretion.

10. Photography & Media Release

I grant Altoura permission to capture and use photos or videos of the Retreat for marketing and content purposes. If I prefer not to appear in media, I will notify Altoura in writing before the Retreat.

11. Binding Effect

I understand that this Waiver:

• Applies to me and my heirs, executors, and assigns
• Is binding for the entire duration of the Retreat
• Survives the end of the Retreat

12. Acknowledgment & Signature

By signing below, I acknowledge that:

• I have read this Waiver in full
• I understand all terms
• I am signing voluntarily and without coercion
• I agree to be bound by this Waiver
